Day Four Grand Canyon North Rim

Kathie made it out early this morning to see this beautiful sunrise at Angel's Point
(Sue is the designated driver so she go to sleep in)

Kathie came back, had a hard time finding the right cabin,  When she finally knocked on the right door she got Sue up and going.  Then we took off for breakfast at the lodge.  Along the way we saw this cute and noise chipmunk.

Then we took another stroll around the North Rim

We found another rare critter "Mountain Short-horned Lizard"

Driving along a quiet hwy you never imagine looking over and seeing where Santa has been boarding his reindeer for the summer, right here off of Hwy 89 in Utah.

We stopped for lunch and had an Elk burger at this cowboy roadside restaurant

Utah here we come

As we have been traveling, we have seen many, many road side stands run by Indians.  When we were entering Utah we saw this small table full of hand made sandstone formations sitting by the road.  All that was there was a drop box to pay for what you wanted.  What a deal!

Heading to Bryce Canyon we pass through Dixie National Forest/Red Canyon.

After arriving at our hotel we headed into Bryce Canyon looking for unique hoodoos which radiate with color especially during sunrise and sunset.

We found the Queens Garden, which was so miraculous that we are planning to hike the trail tomorrow.

Now the sun is starting to set

As we drive further into the canyon, we see the sun setting to our right and the moon rising on our left.

This is the time of day animals venture out

Back out of the canyon, while we wait for a dinner table we visited Old Bryce Town

For dinner we both had fresh Rainbow Trout. YUMMMM!
Time for bed.  Sunrise will come early.
