After having a delicious breakfast
we were off again.
We decided to take the scenic route to Vegas
Our 3rd and final state for this trip
Crossing through the Valley of Fire
The rocks were so red, it was amazing
They say this area is prone to flash flooding.....We didn't see any water for miles
This is supposed to be a river
Where's the water?
We found it, at Hoover Dam
Two winged figures, 30 feet tall and made of bronze,
stand on the Nevada side's approach to the dam.
Legend has it that rubbing their toes brings good luck.
Leaving the wondrous beauty of God's Country
we have now arrived in the crazy world of man's creations
I'm not sure what's going on but they gave us the key to this suite
I bid on price line and got this for under $150 a night
Jumping in the shower before they figure out they put us in the wrong room LOL
Off to dinner at BB Kings inside The Mirage Hotel
The food was yummy
We have tickets to see Terry Fator, he is the ventriloquist that won
the first season of American's got talent
This is Terry with his award winning puppet
Winston The impersonating Turtle
This is the all so funny
Vicki the Cougar
What a great show, we laughed so hard, yet he had some very moving moments
After walking the strip for an hour or so, dogging thousands of people,
we headed back to our luxury suite at
The Palazzo
I know you are thinking "Your in Vegas, you can't go to bed"
Well we can, our suite is amazing so we are going to go hang out in
our room and maybe watch one of our 3 TV's or open our electric curtains
with a great view of the strip.
Tomorrow we will conquer Vegas
Night
